Fang Ting Bookstore is positioned in OCT O’PARK commercial district, near to Hutaoli. Looking from the road that is shut to water, the building’s external facade is a transparent glass curtain wall. The arc’s external wall is 50 % included with a white metal curtain. Combined with the gradual glass film of the reduced fifty percent, a fragile stability is attained in between the virtual and the actual with no influencing the inside lighting. Approaching the outside the house seating spot, a “Book of Longing” opens a mottled brick entrance.
On the first ground, 4 movable horseshoe system tables are divided into the most important use places: on the remaining facet of the entrance is the indoor coffee seat location in the middle, the key house is divided into the audio-visible black glue location, the life aesthetics region and the audio-visible guide space with the platform table as the main. The platform table can adjust the area scope according to the use need, which appears to have the magnetic attraction and unbiased existence.
The suspended ceiling on the to start with ground of the bookstore combines with the cylindrical style, which is composed of several concentric circles of different dimensions. The seemingly random relationship shape provides individuals the rotating association of retro tapes.
Strolling by the major area, the stair spot pointing to the next floor enlarges the width of the first stair and adds a system place as the changeover place of the two floors. The display screen floor of the greatest-marketing leaderboards is designed as a flipped shelf in the form of a piano hammering mallet. Combined with the display screen area of the system, people are guided to go to the center reading through stair area.
A staircase reading through place is added by applying the top of the developing and widening the width of the original staircase. The very low peak shaped by the mezzanine and the bordering e book wall bring the warm feeling of remaining surrounded by information.
Compared with the 1st level, the second level focuses on artwork and reading through. With the streamline shaped by magnetic induction strains, the main use locations are divided into two-layer circular e-book region, horseshoe system desk book location, changeable speech spot, out of doors coffee spot, backstage spot the place staff can rest and operate. According to the precise problem, the desk spot of the platform can be transformed into a speech area to boost the use of house.
Working with the collision involving the round wall and the system table, the place of work of the staff members is opened up. Initially, the frequent wall was damaged by a team of system tables, and the implication of which is also our unconventional style idea. It not only combines the region of inside staff with the space employed by external company, but also raises the fascination of the space.
Merged with the sort of the making by itself and the structure strategy of “electromagnetic cloud”, a two-layer circular bookcase is designed around the extension and the central location, which first satisfies the standard demands of the bookstore, and then extends with the structure elements, offering a experience of being surrounded by a sea of publications.
The platform table in the two-tier space can alter the industry selection in accordance to the transferring situation of the use demand, which appears to have mutual attraction and unbiased existence.
